2026 WHHS Baseball Alex Bradford Memorial Scholarship

The Alex Bradford Memorial Scholarship was created to honor the life of Alex Bradford who passed away in March 2022. Alex loved playing baseball and some of his favorite memories were playing at Western Harnett High School with his best friends. Alex started playing baseball when he was 4 years old and played on recreation, travel and school teams. While his love of baseball was great, being with his teammates and friends was more important. To honor Alex's life and love for the game, we will be awarding a scholarship to a player from the last team he played for; Western Harnett High School.

Criteria:

Must have participated/played on the Western Harnett High School Baseball Team (JV or Varsity)
Must plan to attend a certified program, two, or four year college or university (certificate or degree seeking program)
Student must attend Western Harnett High School (current high school student)

2 Character Statements from a Coach, Teacher, Pastor, etc. that addresses your character to include your work ethic and how you
exhibit teamwork on and off the field.

2026 WHHS BETA Club Alex Bradford Memorial Scholarship

The Alex Bradford Memorial Scholarship was created to honor the life of Alex Bradford who passed away in March of 2022. Some of Alex's favorite memories were with his friends at Western Harnett High School. Alex was an active member of BETA during his time at WHHS and participated in several volunteer events at and with the school. To honor Alex’s life and love for his time at WHHS, we will be awarding a scholarship to a BETA Club student at Western Harnett High School.

Criteria:

Must be a current member of the Western Harnett High School BETA Club
Must plan to attend a certified program, two or four year college or university (certificate or degree seeking program)
Student must attend Western Harnett High School (current high school student)
