2025 WHHS Baseball Alex Bradford Memorial Scholarship

The Alex Bradford Memorial Scholarship was created to honor the life of Alex Bradford who passed away in March 2022. Alex loved playing baseball and some of his favorite memories were playing at Western Harnett High School with his best friends. Alex started playing baseball when he was 4 years old and played on recreation, travel and school teams. While his love of baseball was great, being with his teammates and friends was more important. To honor Alex's life and love for the game, we will be awarding a scholarship to a player from the last team he played for; Western Harnett High School.

Criteria:

Must have participated/played on the Western Harnett High School Baseball Team (JV or Varsity)
Must plan to attend a certified program, two, or four year college or university (certificate or degree seeking program)
Student must attend Western Harnett High School (current high school student)

2025 WHHS BETA Club Alex Bradford Memorial Scholarship

The Alex Bradford Memorial Scholarship was created to honor the life of Alex Bradford who passed away in March of 2022. Some of Alex's favorite memories were with his friends at Western Harnett High School. Alex was an active member of BETA during his time at WHHS and participated in several volunteer events at and with the school. To honor Alex’s life and love for his time at WHHS, we will be awarding a scholarship to a BETA Club student at Western Harnett High School.

Criteria:

Must be a current member of the Western Harnett High School BETA Club
Must plan to attend a certified program, two or four year college or university (certificate or degree seeking program)
Student must attend Western Harnett High School (current high school student)

2025 UNCW Pi Kappa Alpha Alex Bradford Memorial Scholarship

The Alex Bradford Memorial Scholarship was created to honor the life of Alex Bradford who passed away in March of 2022 while he was a Sophomore at UNCW. Alex was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha and loved being a part of the brotherhood that PIKE gave him. In honor of Alex’s life and love for UNCW and PIKE, we will be awarding a scholarship to a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at UNCW.

Criteria:

Must be enrolled as a full-time student in good standing at the University of North Carolina - Wilmington (Graduate or Undergraduate)
Must be in good standing with the fraternity and in good standing with fraternity financial obligations
Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
